From December 16 to 18, 2024, the Fiera di Roma will host the New Space Economy European Expoforum, an event of international scope dedicated to the space sector, with free admission upon registration (link). The initiative, now in its sixth edition, is a unique opportunity to delve into the strategic importance of the space economy, which in Italy has investments of 7.3 billion euros planned by 2026.

The Twinsat solution uses the digital twin concept and was created to create a virtual replica of a satellite constellation in order to detect anomalies in performance and enable rapid response to mitigate the risk of satellite failure or loss. In addition, the data collected can be used to improve the design and reliability of satellites over time.

Our platform is framed in an area of development characterized by technologies based on Big Data, IoT, AI and anomaly detection, all of which are key tools for analyzing and interpreting data generated by the digital twin of satellites.

Machine learning and deep learning, specifically, allow data to be analyzed more precisely and accurately, recognizing patterns and anomalies that might otherwise go unnoticed. This is especially important for ensuring the reliability and safety of space activities.
