Three days dedicated to new projects and solutions for cities
Sogetel has chosen Smart City Expo World Congress Barcelona to present a vertical application based on Isaac DE, our platform for the management of Big Data, released in collaboration with Umpi, for monitoring and predictive maintenance of smart lighting district.
From 14th to 16th of November 2017, start-ups, companies and public administrations from all over the world have had the chance to exhibit their ideas and projects in the spaces of Exhibition Area.
In collaboration with Umpi, Italian company supplier of smart solutions for city, we have developed a project for the monitoring of lighting of two Italian parks, in Ancona and Busto Arsizio. Through the analysis of historical data and data concerning weather conditions, our platform has been able to monitor the correct functioning of the lamps in these areas, to calculate their lifetime and consequently to plan intervention of predictive maintenance, thanks also to the use of Machine Learning.
Smart City Expo World Congress has been for Sogetel a chance to examine in depth and better understand the last technologies and solutions in Smart City field. We met a lot of Italian, European and overseas companies as well as metropolitan cities, discussing and discovering smart city products and establishing interesting relationships for future collaborations.
